At Trinity Christian School, we believe leadership starts early—and our Little Lions are living proof.
For many students, 5th and 6th grade is the first opportunity to step into the world of competitive team sports through TCS Athletics. But make no mistake: this season isn’t just about the scoreboard. It’s about building a foundation of faith, character, and confidence that will serve our students for life.
A Purposeful Introduction to Athletics
As students grow, so do their opportunities. TCS introduces select sports options for 5th and 6th graders—like football, cheer, and more—creating an exciting and age-appropriate entry point to team competition.
These early years are where we begin to teach:
How to be a great teammate
How to train with purpose
How to compete with humility
How to reflect Christ in every win and loss

More Than a Team—It’s a Family
Little Lions teams become a powerful bridge between our elementary and middle school years. Whether your child is running onto the field or cheering from the sidelines, they’re learning to serve others with joy, persevere through challenges, and find their identity in Christ—not just in the game.
The community around our Little Lions programs is strong. Parents, siblings, and even alumni show up to cheer, encourage, and support.

By the time our student-athletes reach Middle School, they’re ready to grow in both skill and leadership. But those first moments—wearing a Trinity jersey, learning team dynamics, praying before a game—set the tone for everything that comes after.
